At
the Second Annual Impy Awards, the Improv Miami Prizes 2005,
on Wednesday, December 21st, Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story
was selected by the Directors of South Florida's troupes
to be the "Best Improv Film 2005".
Featuring some top improv talent, Blackballed is the story
of the comeback of a top competitor in the world of paintball
combat who left in disgrace for a decade after being caught cheating.
Starring Rob Corrdry and Ed Helms from the Daily Show, Rob Riggle
from Saturday Night Live, Paul Scheer, Billy Merritt, Seth Morris,
and many others, the cast is a virtual who's who of the improv
world in New York. There is some motion towards wider distribution
of this film and we can only hope that you will be able to see
it soon.
