Best Improv TV Show 2005
At
the Second Annual Impy Awards, the Improv Miami Prizes 2005,
on Wednesday, December 21st, A.S.S.S.S.C.A.T. Improv was
selected by the Directors of South Florida's troupes to be the
"Best Improv TV Show 2005".
The Upright Citizens Brigade has built a reputation as some of
the most talented improvisational actors in New York City, with
their performers and member of their theatre being featured on
Saturday Night Live, Conan O'Brien, etc. Their A.S.S.S.S.C.A.T.
Improv show has been a mainstay of the New York improv scene for
years. Bravo TV gave them an opportunity to shine on TV, and they
did not disappoint. This one-time show featured the members of
the Upright Citizens Brigade along with Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch,
Horatio Sans, Kevin Dorff and Andy Richter. We can only hope that
Bravo TV will bring the group back for additional specials.
